Murphies

It all started in the first months of 2013 when Sofia Stavrou and Aris Boοyook started jamming, shortly after they met. Sharing a common sense of music they started working on some of the songs of the band that would come to be Murphies. The band took its first-and final- shape in March 2014 when they met Aristotelis Krokidis and Pirros Mangos, who were working as djs back then, at Polytechno Corfu that is till today the meeting place for the local music and art community of the island. These four people founded Murphies and have been composing, rehearsing and playing gigs ever since. Their debut album sums up their story, their friendship over the years, and their love for music.
