Andreas Monopolis – MoCM UNTUNED

Flowing between early electronics, electroacoustic sounds, noise and soundscapes, the album “MoCM Untuned” closes the circle of compositions by Andreas Monopolis, forming a collection of pieces which portrays a whole period of engagement in the field of Acousmatic music. The pieces were largely composed and reproduced in a multi-channel sound environment, in the center of which the listener senses the three-dimensional reproduction as a virtual landscape of sound stimuli in the surrounding space. The multi-channel pieces included in the vinyl have been mixed to a stereo version, in an attempt to generate the best possible result.
